It is with great sadness during these challenging times that have made the difficult decision to close our doors at Promenade Cafe and Wine due to the effects of the Pandemic and staff shortages in our industry. The pandemic has been hard on everyone, especially for the food and beverage industry. We were unable to open our doors for large stretches of time. This has created two-year gap of new staff members entering into Food & Beverage and a huge staff shortage in the hospitality industry. There are simply not enough staff to keep our doors open.
Over the past 11 years we have enjoyed getting to know you and being part of the community. We would like to thank our staff, past and present, for being such an integral part of our business and helping us provide so many wonderful experiences to countless guests over the years. Everyone’s efforts and dedication have never gone unnoticed, we extend our upmost gratitude for your commitment to our family’s vision of Promenade Cafe and Wine.
We want to say thank you to everyone who has dined with us, whether it’s been for many years or are you just recently found us. We created our restaurant based on supporting local and providing great value so our guests would be able to enjoy Promenade as much as possible. We appreciate being part of your treasured memories: birthday celebrations, graduation dinners, first dates or marriage proposals. We have built beautiful memories together that will last a lifetime.
However, as much as we love Promenade, and seeing you walk through the doors, it has now come to an end. We are in the process of getting the restaurant ready for sale and more details will come shortly.
We will continue to operate our event facility at Fort Gibraltar where we are excited to be hosting many weddings and special events throughout the year.
We appreciate everyone that made Promenade Cafe what it was and extend our very best wishes. We hope that everyone stays safe and takes care of each other during these challenging timesp. We will miss you very much!
